Conservation Detection Dog Services

Dogs

Kingston

Kingston is an active Labrador Retriever and a big softy with his family. As the original dog that Rachel began detection work with, King & Co was aptly named after him.

He loves his job, and that is mirrored by his incredible finds -and his excited full body wiggles!

Kingston is currently trained on bird and bat carcasses, Black Winter Truffle (Tuber melanosporum), and Bianchetto White Truffle (Tuber borchii). He has worked operationally on wind farms across NSW and VIC implementing Bird and Bat Adaptive Management Programs (BBAMPs).

Marie

Marie is a cheeky young Labrador Retriever. Even in her time off, she is nose to the ground exploring. She has an exceptional work ethic and determination that sees her excel in the field.

Marie has joined the team on wind farms looking for bird and bat carcasses.

Alfie

Alfie is the newest Labrador Retriever to join the team. He loves his toys with a passion and is incredibly eager to please.

He is undergoing lots of environmental exposure and animal interaction training in preparation for his very special future role working with live endangered species.
